MK Minerals is owned by twelve individual stockholders.  They are unique in that all of them use and/or distribute the products manufactured.

The company was formed in 1998 in order to provide a supply of high quality pelletized lime and gypsum products.  A new modern design plant was built in 1998 just west of St. Joseph MO (Wathena KS) and went on-line early in 1999.

The company has grown substantially in sales and increased the number of products offered since its beginning.  In 2000, a bagging operation was added and MK now offers a full line of retail and professional lawn a garden products in Hi-Cal Lime, Gypsum and Dolomitic Lime.

MK is proud to be considered one of top manufacturers of high quality pelletized lime and gypsum products.  We continue to work to improve that quality by making it more convenient to use and in the end more effective for our valued customers.
